Welcome to the website of the 92nd RI, a recreated French infantry unit from the 1939-1940 period.  This site also serves as the official source of information for the 1940 Battle of France Event held annually on the last weekend of March.

The 92nd RI is composed of like minded historically oriented individuals who are interested in the first great campaign in Western Europe in the spring of 1940.  We have no political agenda nor do we promote or condone any political ideology, real or historic.  Our interest is rooted purely in military history and we seek to increase our knowledge of the soldiers from this brief but crucial period of time.

The reenactment event is invitation only, relatively small and held on private property.
