Next Virginia 1940 Event -  March 27,  2010.

This is an INVITATION ONLY EVENT held on private property.  Interested units or individuals may apply for an invitation through the event organizer.  Due to the relatively small size of the property and our wish to limit the disturbance of our neighbors, we are not seeking large numbers of people.  In addition we are very interested in keeping the numbers relatively even for both sides.  Minimum requirements of uniform and kit are left up to the unit commanders and the event organizers.

All events are camp out type events.  Gates usually open Friday afternoon and you are welcome to stay Friday night.  You will be provided firewood but you must bring all your own supplies with you.  You must bring your own blank ammunition, none is sold at the event.  Smoke and grenades are allowed but due to fire hazards, flares and bird bomb devices are banned.  ALL participants must sign a liability waiver every event.  The event usually starts Saturday morning around 0930 and ends at approximately 1600 hours (4:00pm) Saturday afternoon.  Most people leave immediately afterward but exceptions can be made to stay by prior arrangement.

We are located approximately 20 miles due west of Fredericksburg, VA off of US Rt 3 near the small community of Locust Grove in eastern Orange County.  The weather in late March is usually mild during the day and very cool to cold at night depending on local conditions.
